New Pictures

Elle has been a bit under the weather lately. However, I did manage to snap some cute pictures of her happier moments this week. A girl deserves to spend all day in her pajamas if she doesn't feel good, right? Enjoy!

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone! Elle started her celebration by heading over to visit her friend Mario, and then we headed over to Auntie Trisha and Uncle Chris's house. Here are some pictures of our girl. Thank you to Auntie Kim and Uncle Duncan for the super cute costume!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

Saturday was Elle's first birthday. We can hardly believe our baby is already one! It is amazing that a year ago we welcomed this little 5 pound peanut into our lives. We love her so very much and want to thank everyone for joining us in celebrating this special day with Elle.
Here are a few pictures highlighting the big day:

Fog Willow Farm

Finally, we are back! Sorry for the delay. Elle has two teeth showing, she is getting closer to walking, and she will be 1 on Saturday! So hard to believe!

Garren and I woke up this morning, saw the weather was still pretty decent, and decided to take Elle to Fog Willow Farm. We had such a good time and the weather out there was gorgeous.

Here are a few pictures highlighting our morning:

Growing So Fast

Haven't posted in a while and there is a lot to report. Since the last post, Elle is now pulling up to a standing position all on her own. Which, also, now means that she is grabbing for everything in sight. Elle is cruising along furniture as well. I think it is only a matter of time before this little one is walking. We have also spotted the signs of a first tooth. It is on the top, so not at all where we expected to see it. The tooth has just barely poked through. Yay! Finally!

So hard to believe that our baby will be a year old in just a couple of months... Part of me wants her to slow down, but the other part of me gets excited every time she hits another milestone. Here are a few recent pictures. Sorry they are a little fuzzy. I have got to figure out what is wrong with our camera!!

Hope you all have a great holiday weekend!

Santa Cruz

Yesterday, we took Elle on her first trip to Santa Cruz. Garren decided to play in a volleyball tournament, as well, so we packed up Elle and met up with Garren's family at the beach. Let me tell you, packing up a baby for just one day is a lot of work. We had so much stuff, and we didn't even spend the night. The weather was a little windy and cold, but we had a great time.

Elle, of course, also had to show off her volleyball skills at the beach.
Elle seemed really fascinated by the sand. However, she refused to crawl on her knees. It was a bear crawl all the way. Here are a few pics of her in action:

No trip to Santa Cruz would be complete without a little sand in the mouth. This is a picture of her face after she had a little taste. She didn't seem to mind it until daddy stuck his finger in her mouth to get it all out.
Cheese, well kind of!!

Of course, Elle was covered in sand, but I think she liked it.

"Ok, I think I have had enough. Pick me up, please!"

Me and my beautiful baby:

Despite the weather being cold, I just had to dip her toes in the water. I am not sure she liked the freezing water, but she did laugh each time the waves brought the water closer to her.

Daddy's girl:

After all the fun was done, we went to have dinner with Garren's family on the pier. Elle was apparently hungry, too. The restaurant had these sourdough rolls that were pretty tough. I knew she wouldn't be able to get a piece of it, but it was fun watching her try to bite it and listening to her suck on it.

We hope you all enjoyed your weekend, as well!!!

9 Month Appointment

Today, Elle had her 9 month appointment. She did such a great job at the doctor's office, considering it was right in the middle of her nap time. The doctor said she was doing great, and despite being a little low on weight, she is developing beautifully. But, of course, we already knew that!!!!

Here are her growth statistics from her visit:

Weight: 17 lbs- 20th percentile
Height: 27 in - 50th percentile
Head cir.: 16.5 cm - 10th percentile

Here are a couple of pics of our growing girl:

Hope you have a great weekend! Elle has her first trip to the beach tomorrow, so we will post those pictures really soon!!!!
